Davana & Vanille Bourbon by 100Bon

I did not know about 100Bon fragrances before I once stumbled upon them at a store house. The esthetics of the bottles was what initially made me gravitate towards them, but their unique note combinations is what made me stay.
100Bon is a natural, vegan, refillable and cruelty free fragrance house that caters to your needs by olfactory family or benefits, such as energising, comforting or soothing.

I always go for the vanilla fragrances when I discover a new fragrance house, it gives me a quite good impression of what is in store for me, because vanilla is such a recognisable and impressionable scent. If the vanilla note is too artificial and sticky to the nose, I know that the fragrance house is not for me.
And I absolutely adore vanilla fragrances too.

I reached for Davana & Vanilla Bourbon and was immediately enamored! What an amazing fragrance that smells like cutting fresh Sicilian lemons rolled in a little bit of sugar and vanilla.
The balance between sweetness and citrus is done to perfection.
It has become a sincere staple of mine and I cannot imagine a more simple go-to summer fragrance.

Despite being one of my favourite, this fragrance does not have many layers or original notes, however, I prefer simpler scents for summer. Sometimes, not always, multilayered fragrances for summer can be too heavy or nauseating.

Davana & Vanille Bourbon reacts very well with hot and humid weather, it really shines during summer days. It is by no means a childish scent despite its olfactory profile, but it is not for the all-year-round mysterious woman. This fragrance is playful and feminine, you will most definitely rake in some compliments.

Top notes are litchi, plum, mandarin orange; middle notes are patchouli, jasmine, rose; and base notes are vanilla and cedar, however, I do not smell any of those except for vanilla. These notes are as stated by Fragrantica, whereas 100Bon describes this fragrance as "a fruity and liquorice fragrance" with "aromatic wooden and vanilla hints". The notes stated on the 100Bon website is davana, bourbon vanilla, white cedar, rose and patchouli.

I am very surprised about that considering the lack of depth and spice in this fragrance.

Sometimes less is more, and Davana & Vanille Bourbon definitely proves that. This is and always will be a need-to-have fragrance. Before I even got through half of the bottle, I already had bought the refill size. Today I am almost out, which does not happen very often.
